I am convinced that as a society, we must correct a great injustice, when some citizens and women citizens have fewer rights than all others.” – wrote Inna Sovsun. The draft law will help same-sex couples determine mutual rights and obligations, issues of property ownership, inheritance, social protection, rights in case of death or disappearance of a partner. “Thousands of stories. Thousands of voices. Thousands of destinies. Their love is timeless,” the deputy added. Deputies must sign the project within 5 days. Within the framework of the draft law, it is planned, in particular: to introduce the institute of registered civil partnership only for same-sex couples; prescribe a specific list of rights of partners in a registered partnership; determine the range of issues that can be regulated by the partnership agreement; same-sex marriages concluded between citizens of Ukraine in foreign countries are planned to be equated to civil partnerships in Ukraine. It will be recalled that the petition on the legalization of same-sex marriages received more than 25,000 votes.
