A man who escaped from a unit mobilized with a grenade was detained in the Moscow region

In the city of Domodedovo, Moscow region, the police detained a conscript who escaped from a military unit, he threatened to blow up the building of the local military enlistment office.

According to Baza telegram channel, the detainee was mobilized in October last year and underwent training in the territory of the Kursk region. He escaped from there, he arrived in Domodedovo by taxi, entered the building of the military commissariat and told his employees that he was going to detonate a grenade now. After some time he left, he did not carry out what he had planned. The employees of the military enlistment office turned to the police, who detained the conscript nearby on the street. He had an F-1 grenade with him.

The name of the serviceman is not disclosed – it is only confirmed that he is 38 years old, and he committed his crime while intoxicated.

This is far from the first incident with those mobilized for the war in Ukraine, fleeing from military units with weapons or legally returning from the territory of hostilities. So, at the end of last year, two intoxicated servicemen threatened to blow up a Voronezh cafe with a grenade, where dozens of people were resting at that moment. Fortunately, the explosion occurred outside the building, as a result no one was injured. At the same time, in Podolsk near Moscow, eight mobilized people who voluntarily left their unit, which was located on the territory of the Luhansk region of Ukraine, occupied by Russian troops, were detained. They had assault rifles and machine guns with them.
