In the spring, the DTEK company plans to complete the construction of the first stage of the Tyligul wind power plant with a capacity of 114 MW out of the total announced of 500 MW.

She reported about it press service DTEK

It is assumed that in the spring of 2023, 19 wind turbines will be launched to generate electricity for the power system.

The company notes that they are considering the possibility of completing the construction of the station and bringing it to its full design capacity of 500 MW.

“We are currently looking for options for the further implementation of the project, including negotiations with international donors and partners,” DTEK says. The company is part of Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM investment group.

The installed generation capacity from renewable energy sources in Ukraine is about 10 GW, taking into account the temporarily occupied facilities in the south of the country. It is noted that an increase in green generation to 30 GW would allow Ukraine to achieve a 50% share of RES in the power system capacity structure.
