A snow avalanche was recorded in the Carpathian highlands in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It happened on the northern slope of Mount Pip Ivan, the State Emergency Service reports. The descent of the avalanche was recorded in the direction of the Sheshorsk valley. “The other day, the mountain rescuers of the Yavirnytskyi search and rescue department recorded the descent of a small avalanche on the northern slope of the Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi mountain,” the report says.
