Actor Danyla Kozlovsky will stop performing until the end of this year

Actor Danyla Kozlovsky announced that he was going on vacation until the end of that year “due to personal circumstances.” The May performances with his participation in the St. Petersburg Small Drama Theater have been canceled, the theater itself is closed. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the theater for violation of sanitary regulations.

On May 6, it became known that the MDT under the leadership of Lev Dodin was sealed until at least May 12 at the request of Rospotrebnadzor, and all performances were canceled. State agencies claimed that Rospotrebnadzor recorded “numerous sanitary and epidemiological violations”.

According to Sever.Realia, the inspectors allegedly discovered shortcomings in the field of fire safety and in the sanitary and epidemiological sphere, among which are “defects in the decoration of the walls and floor in the premises for storing cleaning equipment, the lack of markings on mops and buckets, and incomplete fluorographs of some employees of the theater.” .

According to the assumptions of sources in theater circles, the real cause of the troubles at the theater may be Danyla Kozlovsky’s participation in his performances. In April, the Maly Drama Theater was forced to postpone performances with the actor’s participation. Earlier, activist Vitaly Borodyn, known for his denunciations, complained about Kozlovsky to the Prosecutor General’s Office. He asked the agency to check the actor for discrediting the Russian army. In response, Kozlovsky filed a lawsuit against Borodin for the protection of honor and dignity. He called ego mourning “fantasy”. The court did not accept the actor’s claim due to the defendant’s incomplete data, writes “Sota”.
