Alexey Moskalyov disappeared after being detained in Minsk on March 30

Alexey Moskalyov, sentenced to two years in prison on the charge of discrediting the Russian army, disappeared after being detained in Minsk on March 30. This is reported by “OVD-Info”.

“They pulled him out, took him in an unknown direction,” lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov said. He has not been in touch since then.

On April 6, Alexei Moskalyov is due to have a trial on the restriction of parental rights.

Moskalyov live in the town of Efremov, Tula region. The father raises his daughter alone.

After Moskalev’s arrest, his 13-year-old daughter Masha was placed in a shelter. Lawyer Vladimir Bilyenko was not allowed to meet with the girl: on his last visit she was allegedly at a culinary competition, reports “OVD-Info”.

  • In the spring of last year, Masha Moskalyova drew an anti-war picture in class. The teacher told the school principal about it, and turned to the police. The Moskalyovs’ apartment was searched.
  • In the father’s social networks, the police found comments in support of Ukraine, as well as caricatures of Russian President Vladimir Putin. After that, Alexey Moskalyov was first reported under the article of the Administrative Code on the discrediting of the Russian army, fined 32 thousand rubles, and then a criminal case was opened on the same charge.
  • On March 28, the Efremovsky district court sentenced Moskalyov to two years in a general regime colony. The defendant was not present at the hearing, as he had escaped from house arrest the day before. Moskalyov was later detained in Minsk by the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
  • The girl’s mother lives in the Tambov region. After the arrest of her ex-husband, she refused to take her daughter for upbringing and wrote an application to place the child in a shelter. However, later she expressed her willingness to take her daughter home and “repress” thoughts about politics.
  • Maria Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child in Russia, said that the girl will not be returned to her mother and that a family is being sought for temporary guardianship. Other relatives of Moskaleva also did not take custody of the child.
