Apple Music hid the song of the group “Pornofilmy” banned in Russia
The music streaming service Apple Music has hidden from Russian users the song “Eto prodyed” by the rock band “Pornofilmy” banned in Russia.
When you try to listen to a song, a message appears: “This song is not currently available in your country or region.” Thus, the administration of Apple Music fulfilled the requirement of Roskomnadzor.
In October of last year, links to the text and chords of the song “Eto proyedt”, which was written in 2019 by the leader of “Pornofilmov” Vladimir Kotlyarov against the background of mass opposition protests in Moscow, were entered into the register of prohibited materials. At the same time, Russian streaming services “Yandex Music” and VK Music deleted the song.
In 2022, the musicians of Pornofilmov were forced to leave Russia because they publicly spoke out against military aggression against Ukraine. Vladimir Kotlyarov was issued a protocol on “discrediting” the Russian army, and the Ministry of Justice declared him a “foreign agent”.
