“Brave”: The Ministry of Digital is launching a business accelerator for women entrepreneurs

In Ukraine, the acceleration program “Brave” is being launched for Ukrainian women who have founded a micro or small business, or dream of starting their own business.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Entrepreneurs will be able to choose a convenient method of participation: online or offline. The program includes 12 educational modules. Serial workshops for female participants were prepared by representatives of Visa, Silpo, Multiplex, 1991 Accelerator, Grape, Board, Klopotenko, founders of Ukrainian brands GASANOVA, Cover and others.

Speakers will tell how to analyze target audiences, correctly form the price of a product, systematically build a service, reliable partnerships and, in general, scale up. Both beginners and those who already manage their own small or medium-sized business are invited to participate.

The online format involves the participation of 5 thousand women regardless of location, experience or stage of business development. To join the program, it is enough to fill out the registration form on the website.

The offline format involves preliminary competitive selection based on completed registration forms (detailed rules for participation are available on the website). Training will take place in small groups (8-16 people) on the basis of 10 Diya.Business entrepreneur support centers and will include offline sessions with experts and mentors, practical seminars and homework.

Within the framework of the program, the participants will be able to have their project sealed by the jury. Based on the results of the offline program, a rating of the participants will be formed. 10 participants will be able to present their projects to the jury. Two more companies will be selected from those who completed the online training. To do this, you need to send a motivation letter and a developed business plan after completing the last module of the program.

In addition, the two best projects in the nominations “Debutante” and “Visionary” will each receive $5,000 in targeted financial assistance under the She’s Next Empowered by Visa program for the implementation of business initiatives.

The program will be relevant for women who:

  • Recently started their micro or small business, have a startup with an existing prototype of a product or service.
  • They head a micro or small business, have a business plan, but are looking for opportunities for growth, export, and entry into new segments.
  • They want to start a business, have an idea, but don’t know where to start.
  • Are studying at a university and/or represent a female student team with whom they are ready to work on the development of a business idea.
