Discussion “On European integration in plain language”

Discussion “On European integration in plain language”

European integration is our strategic priority. In June last year, Ukraine received the status of a candidate for EU membership, which is a significant leap in the European integration process. Now before the society, not only before the officials, there is an incredible challenge to bring many already familiar things in line with “European standards”.

Moreover, Ukraine will need to more actively immerse itself in the specifics of decision-making in the European community (a vivid example is the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain), which is very unusual for both the country’s leadership and Ukrainian business. What will change in the everyday life of Ukrainians in the process of European integration? What are the challenges before us? What is a realistic timeline for completing the admissions process?

We will talk about these and other issues with the participants of the discussion.

Speakers:

  • Veronika Movchan, Research Director of the Institute of Economic Research and Political Consultations
  • Dmytro Naumenko, senior analyst at the Ukrainian Center for European Policy

Moderator: Dmytro Boyarchuk, executive director of CASE Ukraine

The event will be held in the format of a webinar (Zoom). There will also be a broadcast on the page “The price of the state” on Facebook and YouTube.
