Due to the fact that the previous anniversary Emmy award was postponed to January 2024 in connection with the actors’ strikes, it turned out that this year the award was presented twice. Eight months after the last ceremony, the stars of the series gathered again in the Los Angeles theater L.A Live Peacock.
The presenters of the award ceremony were father and son Eugene and Dan Levy, stars of the series “Shit’s Creek” and winners of the “Emmy” award.
The series was the winner of the evening “Shogun”which tells about the struggle for power in feudal Japan. In total, he won 18 awards. In particular, in nominations The best drama series, The best direction, Best Actor in a Drama Series (Hiroyuki Sanada), Best Actress in a Drama Series (Anna Savai). Another 14 statuettes were collected by the show last weekend, when they presented the “Emmy” in the field of creative arts (Creative Arts Emmy). It marks artistic and technical achievements.

Comedy series “Bear”who had the second most nominations, broke his own record last season. Then he won 10 awards, and this time – 11. The star of this series Jeremy Allen White for the second year in a row, he won Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

“Emmy” – an American television award, which recognizes significant achievements in the television industry. It is presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). The first awarding of the “Emmy” award took place on January 25, 1949 in Hollywood. Now it is awarded in 463 nominations.
Last year, due to the strikes of actors and screenwriters in America, the “Emmy” ceremony was postponed from September to January 2024. The series “The Heirs” and “The Bear” received the most awards at the 75th Anniversary Emmy Awards.
