On March 3, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed a decree according to which, in the event of a disruption of the state defense order during wartime, external management will be introduced in the companies implementing it. The document was published after a closed session of the Security Council.

Putin instructed the government to form a working group on the work of such companies. She will work at the collegium of the Military-Industrial Commission of Russia.

In his decree, for the first time since the beginning of the war, the president of the Russian Federation directly refers to martial law, the Current Time channel notes. It is not currently introduced on the territory of Russia. However, in October, he introduced it on the territory of the regions of Ukraine partially occupied by Russian troops – Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
