Ukrainian judoka Mykhailo Svydrak won the “silver” of the Grand Prix Upper Austria 2023 tournament in Linz. He writes about this with reference to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

So, in the final of the weight category up to 81 kg, the 22-year-old athlete from Prykarpattia lost to the bronze medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games Shamil Borchashvili from Austria.

In general, the Ukrainian national team already has four Grand Prix medals in Austria, namely: 2 silver and 2 bronze.

It is noted that the competition in Linz will last until May 27.

Ukrainian judokas won three medals on the first competition day of the Grand Prix Upper Austria 2023 tournament in Linz.

So, in the weight category up to 60 kg, two Ukrainian athletes rose to the podium at once: Dylshot Khalmatov became the silver medalist, and Artem Lesyuk won the “bronze”.

Daria Bilodid won bronze in the weight category up to 57 kg.
