In France, a follower of Dominique Pelicot is on trial for more than 10 years organized the rape his wife The man copied his drug-pumping tactics.
The crime became known during the trial of Peliko, writes The Guardian.
71-year-old Dominique Pelico from the city of Avignon is on trial for organizing the rape of his wife Giselle. During them, the woman was unconscious because of the drugs her husband gave her.
Together with Pelico, 50 men between the ages of 26 and 74 who raped Gisele about 90 times between 2011 and 2022 appeared in court.
On September 11, a court consisting of five professional judges heard the testimony of a defendant named Jean-Pierre. It is claimed that he was a “student” of Dominique Pelico.
He is on trial not for the rape of Giselle Pelico, but for the fact that he used the same method to organize the rape of his own wife. Peliko himself took part in them.
63-year-old Jean-Pierre is a former truck driver in an agricultural cooperative. According to investigators, he met Dominique Pelico in a chat room called “Against Her Famous” on a site that has since been closed.
At Jean-Pierre’s request, Pélicot provided sedatives, which he used to put his wife to sleep, and then he himself came and raped her. This was repeated four times.
In total, in the period 2015-2020, Jean-Pierre’s wife was raped in this way 12 times. In court, the man stated that he admits his guilt.
Jean-Pierre’s wife refused to participate in the trial because she “has five children and wants to protect them.”
According to Jean-Pierre’s 32-year-old son from his first marriage, he “feels confident” that his father was manipulated by Pelico.
“I firmly believe that if he had not met this person, nothing like this would have ever happened.” – howled the man.
It became known in court that Jean-Pierre’s childhood was very poor. Physical and sexual violence were present in his family.
Currently, 18 accused in the case of the rape of Giselle Pelicot are in custody, including Dominique Pelicot and Jean-Pierre. Another 32 defendants are participating in the trial as free people. The last one, who is still at large, will be tried in absentia.
Most of the defendants face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of aggravated rape.
The trial is expected to last until December.
We will remind, in Nepal for sexual violence against a child condemned a man who is considered the “reincarnation of Buddha”.
