How the hryvnia strengthened in a week: exchange rate on March 10
On Friday, March 10, the cash hryvnia weakened somewhat against the euro and the dollar on the “black market”, but by the end of the week it strengthened by an average of 40-60 kopecks.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 11:40, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was UAH 38.36 – 38.50. On Thursday, March 9, the exchange rate fluctuated between UAH 38.29 – 38.53.
As for the “black” rate of the hryvnia to the euro, at the same time the rate was UAH 40.38 – 40.58, and a day earlier the rate fluctuated at the level of UAH 40.24 – 40.50.
For comparison, on Friday, the quotes for the dollar and euro were UAH 38.71 – 39.03 and UAH 40.7 – 41.08, respectively.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 38.2 – UAH 38.7 (rate on March 9 – UAH 38.25 – UAH 38.8);
- Euro – 40.1 – 40.8 UAH (rate on March 9 – 40.15 – 40.9 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.9 – 38.4;
- Oschadbank – UAH 38.2 – UAH 39.25;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 38.2 – 38.8;
- Raiffeisen – 37.7 – 38.6 hryvnias.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
