Digital reforms in Ukraine have already covered all spheres of life. It is not only about the possibility to pay for travel in public transport through a QR code, electronic queues, online education or medical consultations via video communication, but also about increasing the transparency of financial transactions, the emergence of new forms and business models, modernization of production and, ultimately, new opportunities for diplomatic relations at the country level.
Logically, such a digital boom has become a real klondike of business opportunities. The first “relief” caused by digitization is the optimization of processes. And therefore, saving both time and human and financial resources, which can be the main factor in the issue of competitiveness.
Many leading Ukrainian companies have invested in new digital solutions to optimize production processes. PrJSC “Obolon” – a giant among Ukrainian beverage manufacturers – was no exception. The financial director (CFO) of “Oboloni” Dmytro Buga and the director of information technologies (CIO) Oleksandr Pshenichnyi told what digital tools the company implemented, and how it affected productivity and development.
