Under the conditions of martial law in Ukraine, there are special permits and restrictions for tourists. Before the start of the summer season, they were updated and published in the State Tourism Development Agency. When going on a journey within the country, a tourist should know the locations of shelters along the travel route, and also make sure that the tour operators or tour guides who accompany you have formed routes taking into account the location of bomb shelters. In Kirovohrad Oblast, it is forbidden to visit forests and use watercraft on water bodies. In the region, rafting on reservoirs under bridges and visiting forests near the Belarusian border are prohibited. At the same time, it is allowed to swim in rivers and lakes located in places of mass recreation, in particular at Lake Svityaz. In the Lviv region, you can go to the forest, but it is forbidden to travel through it by transport. Exceptions are only cases when a transit route or bicycle route runs through the forest massif. Bonfires can only be lit in designated areas. Excursions, hikes, rafting along routes near critical infrastructure, military and strategic facilities are prohibited. Tourist facilities are open, swimming and sunbathing are allowed only on those beaches checked and recommended by the State Emergency Service. In Transcarpathia, you can go to the forests, but some routes are closed for visitors. In the Rivne region, the ban on visiting forests in part of the territory was lifted. It is forbidden to visit the northern parts of six territorial communities: Loknitskaya, Zarichnenskaya, Vysotskaya, Milyatskaya, Starosilskaya, Berezivskaya. In Khmelnytskyi region, all tourist facilities operate as usual and according to approved schedules. Visiting the forests is not prohibited, but there are certain restrictions: it is prohibited to light fires, as well as to enter the forests by all types of vehicles except bicycles. On the territory of Chernivtsi region, all tourist facilities are operating as usual. There is no decision on a ban on visiting forests. Tourist locations located 5 kilometers from the border strip can be visited only with the permission of the border guards.
