IDP pensioners were told how not to lose their pension benefits

Pensioners with the status of IDPs must be identified in time and at least once every six months carry out transactions using the main payment card of the pension account in order to be credited with a pension.

Such advice was given by the chairman of the board of “Oschadbank” Serhii Naumov.

Thus, according to the resolution of the CMU, starting from September 25, within the next 6 months, IDP pensioners must undergo the so-called identification.

This can be done in several ways:

  • in territorial bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
  • by means of video conference communication with PFU;
  • through a personal electronic account on the PFU web portal or in a foreign diplomatic institution.

The chairman of the board of “Oschadbank” noted that the issue of termination or extension of accrual of pension payments to card accounts of internally displaced persons belongs to the competence of the Pension Fund.

“If physical identification is not completed, automatic blocking of expenditure transactions by Oshchadom is not carried out, however, the relevant information is transferred to the PFU. In addition, we transfer to state authorities information on accounts on which transactions using the main pension card were not carried out in the last six months” , – he noted.

Naumov advised pensioners with the status of IDPs to undergo identification in time and at least once every six months to carry out transactions using the main payment card to the pension account, including knowledge of cash and calculations in the trade and service network.
