In England, a dog was rescued who climbed the highest mountain, Scafell Pike, with his owners, but could not get down. The 33-kilogram dog was “injured and emaciated,” reports CNN. Dog owners together with their pet conquered the top of Scafell Pike – the highest mountain in England with a height of 978 meters, located in the famous Lake District National Park. However, on the way back the dog “refused to move” and the owners contacted Keswick Mountain Rescue. “Despite the fact that the dog was quite large (33 kg), it was very pleasant to carry such a relatively light load. The victim remained royally calm and positive throughout!” – wrote the rescuers. Photo: Keswick MRT The dog was placed in a special bag on a stretcher and evacuated from the mountain. The rescue operation lasted 4 hours 18 minutes and involved 13 rescuers from the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team. In England, a dog was rescued that climbed the highest mountain, Scafell Pike. This is not the first time that English rescuers “descended” dogs from the mountain Scafell Pike. In July 2020, a 121-kilogram St. Bernard named Daisy needed help – the animal’s hind legs hurt and she could not move. The rescue operation then took 5 hours and involved 16 members of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. The four-legged dog was put in a bag and “led down” from the mountain. We will remind you that in Odesa, the emergency services rescued a dog that got into a cesspool. And Kyiv rescuers showed how they resuscitate a dog that barely survived the fire.
