In Mykolaiv, a 6-year-old boy fell from the balcony of an apartment on the seventh floor of a multi-story building.
As reported in the emergency department, the event happened in the evening of September 9.
The child landed on the slate roof of the library, which is located on the first floor of the building.
The rescuers lowered the boy from the roof with the help of medical stretchers and handed him over to the emergency medical team. Currently, the child is hospitalized, where doctors are fighting for his life.
According to the press service of the State Emergency Service in the Mykolaiv region, the boy’s condition is serious, but with positive dynamics. On the morning of September 10, the child is in the intensive care unit, undergoing the necessary examinations.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The State Emergency Service reminded that it is dangerous to leave children unattended, especially near balconies and windows.
