In Russia, the register of electronic summonses has been launched in test mode
In Russia, the website of the register of electronic summons for conscripts was launched in test mode, the user of the collective IT blog “Habr” drew attention. From November, it will contain summonses to the army and decisions of authorities related to conscription, including messages about restrictions on the rights of defectors. The corresponding law was adopted by the State Duma in the spring of 2023.
The distribution of electronic summons should begin on November 1. Through the site, owners of confirmed accounts at the State Services will be able to obtain information about themselves regarding the draft. The summons will be considered delivered 7 days after its placement in the electronic register. The citizen will have to be informed about this, however, now the military commissions are not required to obtain the conscript’s handwritten signature that he knows about the decision of the conscription commission, as it was before.
In the summer of last year, legislators forbade citizens subject to military service to leave Russia after the summons was placed in the register.
The site is open at the email address Reestrpovestok.rf. It is registered and administered by the developer of the Russian portal of public services “RTLabs”, the correspondent of Radio Svoboda was convinced.
