In St. Petersburg, a participant of the so-called “special military operation”, 41-year-old volunteer Alexey Lymar, who had previously been beaten by night club guards and the police who arrived at the scene of the incident, died in the hospital of the Military Medical Academy.

According to Lymar’s wife, on February 22, the deceased celebrated his mother’s birthday with his family, and then went with his wife to the Story club nightclub. According to Baza Telegram channel, at the entrance to the club, the man had a conflict with five security guards, who subsequently took him outside and beat him. Later, the police came to the institution and rudely detained Lymar. Baza published a video in which one of the police officers uses a stun gun against a detainee who is already lying on the ground. After that, Lymar was taken to the police department and fined 500 rubles for hooliganism.

The next day, Lymar went to the doctors, who diagnosed him with multiple fractures of the facial skeleton, fractures of the frontal bone and jaw, a contusion, and a ruptured esophagus. Already in the hospital, the man had a stroke and sepsis, the kidneys and spleen began to fail. Lymar died almost a month after hospitalization.

As reported by 47News, Aleksey Lymar went to war in September 2022, where he served in the infantry in the Luhansk region of Ukraine. The volunteer returned home in January. In peaceful life, Lymar was engaged in cargo transportation. It is noted that the case of his death has not yet been opened, and that he has two sons, 3 and 14 years old.
