A presentation of a new application for children about fire safety “Ryativnychok” was held in Kyiv. It is intended for children aged 6 to 12 years.
It was developed by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine together with partners, it is said on the website of the State Emergency Service.
As informs “Ukrinform”, “Ryativnychok” should, through the game, teach young Ukrainians to respond to various types of danger, help them master the basics of fire safety and the rules of behavior during emergency situations.
The application contains 6 educational videos and 10 “challenge” levels – fun interactive tasks on firefighting, evacuation and first aid, etc. They must be completed after completing the training. For each level you can get a maximum of 3 stars.
“The game contains fun and interactive mini-games that allow children to feel like real firefighters, putting out fires, evacuating people and providing them with first aid.” – say the State Emergency Service.
Small users can choose how their player and his fire engine will look, as well as the helper – Arby the robot.
“After successfully completing these levels, children will receive in-game currency that can be spent on new equipment for the player, as well as on updating the appearance of him and the fire truck.” – they said at the presentation.
If the child collects the maximum number of stars for each level, then he has a chance to win a prize – a unique certificate from the State Emergency Service, which gives the right to go on a tour of the fire department and other various gifts from rescuers.
“With this certificate, children can come to their teacher, who deals with the basics of life safety (OBZ), and together with him organize an excursion to the fire department. (This will be a gift – ed.) to someone who has taken a very responsible approach to fire safety rules.” – noted the representative of the game studio FUGAS, which developed the application Mykhailo Boyko.
In the future, the developers of Ryativnychka plan to update the application and create even more levels of difficulty. Currently, only one of the four has been implemented.
The application is already available for download on iOS and Android.
