During the year, 130 road structures and a third of all destroyed railway bridges were restored in Ukraine.

About this told Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

“We have already demonstrated to the whole world that we are capable of rapid recovery even in the face of constant Russian attacks. Over the course of a year, we have restored 130 artificial structures and a third of all destroyed railway bridges to traffic. We are working on the passive protection of substations and we can see the effectiveness of our work,” – he said during the discussion on the margins of the Brussels Forum.

He added that the key priority of the Ministry of Infrastructure is currently the implementation of those projects that will return Ukrainians home and stabilize the situation in communities. In particular, the priority is the protection of critical infrastructure objects. Currently, more than 100 energy facilities are equipped with passive protection.

The department is also working on the construction and repair of housing, as well as the restoration of transport connections with liberated communities.

And work continues on the development of export logistics, in particular, on increasing the volume of processing at the Danube ports, as well as on the development of road and railway border infrastructure on the western border.
