In Ukraine, the rules for sending military personnel for treatment abroad have been simplified

The government of Ukraine has simplified the mechanism of sending military personnel for treatment abroad. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to the new rules, the conclusion on the need to send a military person for treatment abroad will be made by the medical institution where he is being treated or undergoing rehabilitation. The hospital will also send a package of documents to the relevant state body of the Security and Defense Forces. This conclusion will be adopted without a council of the military medical institution. “With this step, the Government has significantly reduced bureaucratic procedures for defenders,” the Ministry of Defense says. We will remind you that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed two laws that should simplify the passage of medical commissions by military personnel and the receipt of medical documents.
