International boxing tournament: Ukraine won 27 awards
Ukraine won 27 medals at the Scorpion Cup international boxing tournament. He writes about this with reference to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
“27 medals, including 17 gold ones, were won by the junior men’s and women’s boxing teams of Ukraine at the international tournament “Scorpion Cup” in Szczecin, Poland.
Representatives of the youth national teams of Ukraine, who won 5 awards of the highest level, also took part in the tournament,” the Ministry of Youth and Sports reported.
It is noted that the best boxer of the tournament was Vladislav Zheleznov (57 kg). Also, Kira Makogonenko (46 kg) received the award for the best fight.
Young boxers from six countries took part in the “Scorpion Cup”: Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The tournament became the final stage of preparation for the European Junior Championship, which will be held from July 19 to 31 in Romania.
The Ukrainian woman won a silver medal at the European Cup in rock climbing.
