Seven National award of film critics “Kinokolo” announced the nominees for the 2024 award.

The tape won the largest number of nominations “Honeymoon” Zhanna Ozirnaya has five of them. Movies are also among the leaders “Version” Roman Bondarchuk (4 nominations) and “Grey Bees” Dmytro Moiseeva (4 nominations).

This year, the awards will be presented in 11 nominations: will be selected for the first time best feature and short documentary films in two separate categories.

The winners will traditionally be announced at a ceremony on the opening day of the “Kyiv Critic’s Week” festival – October 17, 2024. The host of the ceremony will be a member of the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine Lyudmila Chirkova. For the third time, the award ceremony will be broadcast by “Social Culture”.

About the “Kinokol” award

National award of film critics “Kinokolo” founded in 2018, awarded annually. Celebrates the achievements of Ukrainian cinematography and film industry figures over the past year on behalf of the community of film critics. The winners are determined by the National Film Critics Award Committee. It consists of 57 film critics and film experts who are members of FIPRESSI, and authors whose texts and analytical materials are published in the Ukrainian mass media.

In previous years, the best films of “Kinokola” were “Pamfir” by Dmytro Suholytky-Sobchuk, “Stop Earth” by Kateryna Gornostay, “Atlantida” by Valentin Vasyanovich, “Home” by Nariman Aliyev.
