“Looks like a show for the public”: investment banker Tomasz Fiala on the fight against corruption

The founder of Dragon Capital and the owner of UP Tomasz Fiala believes that until the dismissals of the representatives of the authorities are not followed by real courts and further preventive measures, such a fight against corruption “looks like a show for the public.”

Fiala told about this in interview EP.

“Yes, there were searches, but if the people who were searched were not charged, they did not appear in court, preventive measures were not chosen for them, then it looks more like a show for the population to appease. We will see further.” , – he commented on the mass dismissals of government officials in recent weeks.

In his opinion, the wave of dismissals from the government, which has begun, will not end under the pressure of civil society, media and Western partners of Ukraine.

“At the beginning of the war, everyone was afraid to criticize, so as not to destabilize the situation and to continue receiving support from the West. I think we will see more of these scandals and this will put pressure on the authorities to clean themselves up,” he summarizes.
