L’Oréal Paris continues to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs: the second wave of the grant program has started! – News
Difficulties test, but at the same time unite the brave!
French brand L’Oreal Parislaunched the “Support Program” for the second time businesswomen of Ukraine” and provides women with even more opportunities for business development – 12 grants of 750,000 hryvnias!*
The program was first launched in November 2023. 10 women-businesswomen from different parts of Ukraine received grants in the total amount of 6,500,000 hryvnias and were able to realize their business ideas.
The program is local initiative Ukrainian team L’Oreal Paris and is implemented jointly with the UNFPA Foundation, which focuses its work in the field of gender equality, reproductive health and youth capacity building.
Among the winners of the first wave are women who develop projects in various fields:
– Zoya Stetsenko, project “Fairy tale” (AI-generator of fairy tales in Ukrainian)
– Natalia Stavnycha, project “Gushka wool” (natural wool products)
– Natalia Voychuk, project “Creation barrier-free architectural and information environment”
– Natalia Vashchuk, project “Center for the Development of a Special Child”
– Anna Pavlus, project “WHEELNY” (adaptive clothing)
– Tatyana Rumenko, project “Publishing House “Mushlya”” (children’s literature)
– Hanna Man, project “Talk to me” (crisis support for military personnel)
– Margarita Kozachenko, project “Family eco-farm “Perepilochka””
– Victoria Prorok, project “UKRAINIAN CRAFT SPACE” (children’s space of Ukrainian culture and creativity)
– Yulia Melnyk, project “Products made of granite as a socially important element in the development of the territory and roads”.
Tatyana Rumenko tells about his achievements: “I invested a grant from L’Oreal Paris in the development of the children’s literature publishing house “Mushlya”, we are currently printing two novelties. Both books were selected to represent our country as part of the national stand of Ukraine at the most influential cultural event on the planet – the Frankfurt Book Fair fair”.
Anna Pavlus shares his experience: “Faith that everything will work out, satisfied customers and their feedback – this is what gives strength to continue working… And first of all, who else will do it, except you?”
The L’Oréal Paris brand continues to be inspired by the strength and courage of women and sets a mission to support Ukrainian businesswomen who, despite the circumstances, continue to look for new opportunities to create, restore or scale a business.
To participate in the second wave of the programduring September, you need to fill out a questionnaire and submit a presentation of your own project using the link, after which 30 participants will be selected. The next step will be the selection of 12 winners by an expert jury of the project, including representatives of the L’Oreal Ukraine company and public owners of Ukrainian businesses.
During selection, special attention will be paid to projects that have a social-ethical, socially useful or innovative component, as well as factors that can positively affect the state of the Ukrainian economy, namely: the potential for creating additional jobs, a worthy presentation of Ukrainian brands on the international stage market, positive impact on the environment and ecology, etc. More details about the conditions of participation at the link.
In addition, 30 finalists will have the opportunity to listen to educational lectures from successful entrepreneurs and ask questions personally. Training will be conducted online and in compliance with all safety measures.
In the final, the 12 best projects will receive grants of UAH 750,000* for the development or creation of their own business.
Natalia Stavnycha advises anyone who hesitates: “Even filling out the application, you have to get out of your “bubble” and look at your own business from the outside. Maybe see new challenges and think about how they will turn into opportunities, and those into advantages. Plus, the opportunity to talk about your product to a larger audience, get new acquaintances and inspiration.”
