NKREKP is preparing to increase the maximum prices for electricity from November 1
The National Commission for Energy and Communal Services (NKREKP) is preparing to revise the maximum prices on the electricity market starting November 1.
He writes about it ExPro with reference to the draft resolution of the NCRECP, which is planned to be approved at the meeting on October 1.
The regulator proposes to establish the following limit prices on the day-ahead and intraday markets from November 1:
- from 00:00 to 07:00 – 5,600 UAH/MWh;
- from 07:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 – UAH 6,900/MWh;
- from 17:00 to 23:00 – 9,000 UAH/MWh;
- minimum marginal price – UAH 10/MWh;
In a balancing market:
- maximum marginal prices from 00:00 to 07:00 – 6,600 UAH/MWh;
- from 07:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 – UAH 8,250/MWh;
- from 17:00 to 23:00 – 10,000 UAH/MWh;
- minimum marginal price – 0.01 hryvnias/MWh.
Market participants will be able to submit their comments and proposals to the project after approval by the National Commission.
It is expected that the final decision will be with higher marginal prices than proposed by the regulator at this stage.
