The court in Moscow fined the Russian musician Noize MC (Ivan Alekseev) 30 thousand rubles for the administrative article on the absence of a “foreign agent” marking. This is reported by “Mediazona”.

The reason for the fine was that on two posts on February 1 and 5 of this year in the Noize MC community in the VKontakte social network, there was no die indicating the status of a “foreign agent”. The musician’s lawyer insisted that it was not Noize MC himself, but ten administrators, who were engaged in community postings. The performer’s manager Elizaveta Korovyna said that she posted the posts without marking. The representative of Roskomnadzor insisted that Noize MC should be considered the creator of the publications, since the community is run on his behalf.

The Ministry of Justice included the musician Noize MC in the register of foreign agents in November last year. The department charges him with “carrying out political activity” and receiving funding from Ukraine.

The court in Moscow also fined journalist Alexander Plyushchev on Thursday for not marking him as a “foreign agent”. The reason for this was a video posted on his YouTube channel in February of this year.
