Polar scientists published pictures of night landscapes in Antarctica

Ukrainian polar explorers showed “deserted and mystical” night landscapes in Antarctica. According to them, it is a rare phenomenon when the sky above the “Vernadskyi” station is not covered with clouds and scientists can “admire the Moon of extraordinary size”.

In addition, the scientists asked users if they had seen a similar phenomenon and encouraged them to share their photos in the comments.
We will remind, recently Ukrainian polar explorers showed another unique phenomenon is nacreous clouds over Antarctica. According to them, such clouds can be seen only a few times a year, mainly during the Antarctic winter.
Besides, they are too published incredible photos of the starry sky. At that time, the National Institute of Natural Sciences noted that it is not often possible to see it due to the fact that it is constantly cloudy in this region.
