Political scientist Karaganov rents out an apartment in Berlin, despite the sanctions

Sergei Karaganov, a Russian political scientist close to the Kremlin, who has repeatedly called for a nuclear attack on Europe and, in particular, on Germany, continues to rent out his apartment in Berlin, despite the sanctions imposed against him. As The Insider reports, the German prosecutor’s office has started an investigation.

According to the German newspaper Bild, we are talking about an apartment with an area of ​​52 square meters in the Prenzlauer Berg area. Since July, the Karaganov family (Sergei and his wife Ekaterina) almost doubled their rent, from 850 to 1,550 euros, and at the same time they found a tenant who transferred the money to a dummy account.

In December of last year, the mass media established that the Karaganovs also receive income from the two-story apartment they previously purchased in the tourist district of Venice, Castello. The real estate rental announcement was placed on one of the most popular specialized services, Booking.com.
