Reconstruction of “Okhmatdyt”: the hospital announced a tender for UAH 9.5 million for basic emergency works

“Okhmatdit” announced a tender in the electronic system Prozorro for emergency emergency work in the medical and diagnostic complex damaged as a result Russian shelling July 8.

The work will be carried out with the financial support of the “Tabletochka” Charitable Foundation. reported on the website of the National Social Security Administration “Okhmatdit”.

“The expected cost of the purchase is UAH 9.5 million including VAT. It is determined on the basis of a technical report, a defective certificate, estimate documentation and a positive expert assessment.

For convenient communication, construction suppliers will be able to get answers to additional questions on the Prozorro platform”– they say in the institution.

Emergency emergency work of the damaged hull involves the following measures:

• filling window and door openings that were knocked out during the explosion;
• fencing off part of the premises with temporary structures in order to protect the building from the influence of external factors;
• protection of utility networks, partial replacement (in particular, replacement of heating radiators that remained open after the explosion and have direct contact with the outside environment).

The hospital says that protecting the building from external influences is an important part of preparing the medical and diagnostic complex for the winter period.

Currently, all departments of “Okhmatdyt” have resumed work, except for the department of intensive and efferent therapy of chronic intoxications. His patients receive medical care at the Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1.

The Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation operates on the basis of “Okhmatdyt” and the Kyiv City Center of Nephrology and Dialysis. The rest of the departments were distributed among the buildings of “Okhmatdyt”, which were not damaged or were partially damaged.
