The authorities of the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine said that their regions were attacked by drones at night and in the morning. For the first time in recent times, the head of the Smolensk region, which borders Belarus, also reported on this.

The head of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, reported that last night, an air defense system shot down several drones near Kursk. According to him, there were no victims as a result of the drone attack, the entrance of a multi-storey building and several private houses were damaged.

The authorities of the Bryansk region claim that in the morning the Armed Forces shelled two villages. No one was hurt, in the second village a two-bedroom residential house caught fire. The Ukrainian military did not comment on this message.

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, wrote that the night in the region “passed relatively peacefully.” Yesterday, the region was subjected to massive shelling, the authorities began to evacuate residents from Shebekin.

The head of the Kaluga region, where a fallen drone was found the day before, reported that an “unidentified object” fell in the forest this morning, resulting in an explosion. No one was injured, economic objects and residential buildings were not damaged, said Vladyslav Shapsha.

The Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine are subject to regular shelling. The Russian authorities accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian side does not comment on the shelling.
