The Center for Countering Disinformation denied the information about the missile attack on the Rivne NPP, which allegedly caused an increase in the level of radiation.
Letters with such information began to arrive in the e-mail boxes of Ukrainians, reported in the CPD.
They are sent supposedly on behalf of the State Emergency Service. The letters refer to the “damage” of power units 2 and 4 of the RANP.
It also contains information on the evacuation of residents of Rivne, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions.

“The State Emergency Service of Ukraine did not send such messages, and the structure’s mailboxes were not hacked. Most likely, these letters were sent through duplicate mailboxes and are part of a Russian information attack aimed at sowing panic among the population, discrediting Ukrainian state structures and lowering the level of trust in them.”– explained in the CPD.
If you received such a letter, you should mark it as spam and in no case follow the specified links.
