At the end of October, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will open a kindergarten for employees’ children. They will be able to be under the supervision of educators while their parents are working.
This will be the first step in testing a new model of preschool education.
About this told Deputy Minister Yevgenia Smirnova in an interview for ZN.UA.
According to her, the main idea of the project is to create so-called preschool centers that can work at various institutions – at ministries, libraries and business centers.
“The advantage of the centers is that they do not need a separate large building if there are few children in the community. And employers can open preschool centers in order to attract mothers and fathers of children to work.”– emphasized Smirnova.
She noted that several communities have already been identified where the first pilot institutions will appear within the framework of this project.
We used to toldthat high-quality preschool education is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2024/2025 academic year.
