Hundreds of residents of the Sadgorod district in the suburbs of Vladivostok have received lawsuits from the Ministry of Defense of Russia to cancel their ownership rights to the land plots on which their houses stand. The Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako reported this in his Telegram channel.

According to the official, the documents from 1932 and 1939, which state that this land belongs to the Ministry of Defense, became the basis for the claims. Kozhemyako reports that 300 families may have ownership rights to land plots.

“Today we will hold a meeting with the residents of Sadhorod. And based on the results, we will send a letter to the Ministry of Defense to receive the necessary clarifications.” – said in the message of the governor.

On March 13, the management of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Primorsky Territory reported that it had begun an investigation into the article on negligence. The department will check information about the violation of the rights of residents of the Sadhorod district when they are given land plots, including within the framework of regional social programs.
