The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has declared a wanted political scientist and publicist Abbas Gallyamov. In the wanted card, it is not indicated for which case he is wanted. Galyamov repeatedly made anti-war statements. In February 2023, the Ministry of Justice included him in the list of “foreign agents”.
Abbas Gallyamov – candidate of political sciences. In 2008-2010, he was called the speechwriter of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. From 2010 to 2014, Gallyamov worked as Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Now he lives in Israel.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Gallyamov “distributed materials created by foreign agents to an unlimited number of people, spoke out against a special military operation in Ukraine, participated as an expert and respondent on information platforms provided by foreign structures.”
Abbas Gallyamov regularly appears as an expert on Radio Svoboda – Svobodnaya Europe.
