The Ministry of Justice appealed to the Ministry of Defense with a request to contribute to the timely provision of TCC answers to the appeals of notaries.
This happened after a complaint from the Chamber of Notaries of Ukraine, it is said on the organization’s website.
As noted in the NPU, cases of ignoring the requests of notaries regarding the inheritance of accrued, but not paid monetary support of a deceased serviceman have become more frequent recently.
“Yes, according to the provisions of Article 46 of the Law “On Notaries”, a notary has the right to demand from individuals and legal entities the information and documents necessary to perform a notarial act.
Such information and documents must be submitted within the period determined by the notary. This term cannot exceed 1 month.” – noted in the Notary Chamber of Ukraine.
Currently, it is difficult for notaries to obtain information on the amounts of financial support. This entails a violation of the legal rights of the heirs of the fallen soldiers.
After the appeal of the NPU, the Ministry of Justice sent a letter to the Ministry of Defense.
“…we ask you to assist in solving the issue of the timely provision by territorial centers of staffing and social support of answers to the requests of notaries”, – it says.
We will remind, the Ministry of Defense developed the payment processing algorithm for family members of foreign servicemen who died, went missing or were captured.
