The missing private Robinson helicopter was found in the Arkhangelsk region
The wreckage of the private Robinson 44 helicopter, which went missing on Thursday, was found in the Arkhangelsk region. Two people on board died, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The wreckage of the helicopter was found in a marshy area five kilometers from the village of Bychye. According to preliminary data, Arkhangelsk City Duma deputy Sergey Smetanin and businessman Aleksey Semenov could be on board the helicopter, writes TASS.
The Investigative Committee reported the initiation of a criminal case, since the flight was not coordinated, and its plan was not submitted. It is not specified under which article the case was initiated.
The helicopter disappeared from the radar on September 26, it was flying from the village of Bychye to the village of Karandashevskaya of the Primorsky District of the region. According to Telegram channel 112, Smetanin and Semenov flew from Arkhangelsk to Ezevets two days ago for fishing, and from there they flew to the village of Bychye to refuel.
