Today, May 19, the National Bank presented a new negotiable commemorative coin “Supporting Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. This was reported by the press service of the regulator.

This coin is identical in its characteristics to an ordinary circulating coin with a face value of 10 hryvnias of the 2018 model. At the same time, its reverse is thematic, devoted to servicemen of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The revolving commemorative coin “Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” continues the “Armed Forces of Ukraine” series.
The reverse of the coin depicts the emblem and slogan of the Armed Forces Support Forces: “Always near.”
The obverse of the coin is identical to the obverse of the 2018 10-hryvnia circulating coin, in the center of which the denomination of the coin, the year of minting, and the coat of arms of Ukraine are depicted in the frame of the Old Russian ornament.

Like all other negotiable coins of Ukraine, the negotiable commemorative coin “Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” must be accepted at its face value for all types of cash payments.
Sales of such coins as numismatic production by distributor banks will not be carried out. The NBU will support banks and SIT companies with negotiable commemorative coins for subsequent issuance to their clients.
These coins will also be accepted from clients as ordinary circulating coins with a denomination of 10 hryvnias. Gradually, about 10 million such circulating commemorative coins will be introduced into cash circulation.
At the same time, part of the circulation of the circulation commemorative coin “Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” will be formed into specially designed rolls. They will be sold from May 25, 2023 in the NBU numismatic products online store and by distributor banks (Ukrgasbank, Radabank, Taskombank, Privatbank) as souvenir products.
The video will include 25 circulating commemorative coins “Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. The souvenir packaging of the video shows the emblem of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the stylized old defense structure – the palisade. The circulation of the videos is 20,000 pieces.

- mass — 6.4 g,
- diameter — 23.5 mm,
- circulation – 10,000,000 pieces (including 500,000 – souvenir production in the form of specially designed rollers).
