The NBU has almost doubled the sale of currency at the interbank
During the week, from May 8 to 12, the National Bank bought $16.47 million and sold $552.21 million on the interbank currency market. The negative balance amounted to $535.74 million against $258.83 million last week. This is evidenced by the regulator’s data.

Thus, the National Bank increased the sale of currency by $276.91 million compared to last week.
Since the beginning of the year, the NBU at the interbank:
- bought $97.32 million;
- sold $9,444.38 million.
The negative balance of interventions amounted to $9,347.05 million.
