The “Action. Education” portal has started popular vote for the best teacher in the “Choice of Ukrainians” nomination as part of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024.
This year, among the finalists are 10 teachers who have already passed a thorough selection. In total, more than 3,200 applications were submitted, including 1,210 from teachers themselves, and another 2,059 nominated by students, parents and colleagues.
“The public survey is an opportunity to tell the stories of incredible teachers to as many Ukrainians as possible and to find out whose professional history and approaches to teaching are the most inspiring.
And also to additionally recognize those who contribute to the development of Ukrainian education every day“, said Zoya Lytvyn, head of the “Osvitoria” union, which organizes the award.
To vote, you need to go to the Diya.Osvita website, read the profiles of the finalists and cast your vote for the one you like. To do this, you should log in to the platform and click the “Give your vote” button.
Voting will continue until October 1 inclusive. The winner will receive a prize – an educational trip.
The name of the winner will be announced on October 5 during a solemn ceremony, which will be broadcast on the national telethon “Yedini Novyni” and on the “Osvitoria” YouTube channel.
