The president is asked to increase the leave of the military: a petition



President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is asked to extend the leave period for military personnel. The corresponding petition was published on the website of the President of Ukraine on May 23. In the description of the petition, the author, People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko, asks to increase the leave period for military personnel to 40 days, of which 30 days should be annual, and 10 days leave for family reasons. It is also proposed to increase the leave of conscripts to 20 days. Conscripts have 5 days of leave per year for family reasons,” the text of the petition reads. Oleksiy Goncharenko added that the corresponding draft law on increasing the leave period for military personnel was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
