The authorities of the Kaluga region canceled this year’s “Invasion” rock festival. It will be postponed to the next hour. The decision of the regional authorities is explained by security considerations and the fact that this is “not the time.”

The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladyslav Shapsha, wrote in his Telegram channel that he agreed on the cancellation of the festival both with local residents and with representatives of law enforcement agencies. He announced that the next “Invasion” will take place in 2024, and the venue will also be changed.

The organizers of the festival specified that it will be moved to July 26-28, 2024 and will be held in the vicinity of the village of Aristovo, Borovsky District.

According to The Insider publication, doubts about the safety of the rock festival could be related to the fact that drone crashes have recently been recorded on the territory of the Kaluga region. On the morning of June 2, an unidentified object fell in the Kirovsky district of the Kaluga region, Governor Shapsha said. On June 1, Baza reported that a drone was shot down in the region. According to preliminary data, the debris fell near the Tovarkovo settlement, and a sinkhole formed at the scene. There were no victims.
