The State Service for Emergency Situations showed mines lying in the grass, which is why they cannot be noticed immediately. A video with photos was published on the Facebook page of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. With the arrival of spring, various vegetation began to appear on the ground, because of this, it is more difficult for people to notice mines in the de-occupied territories. The sector affected by the explosives is more than 50 meters, rescuers note. “Increasingly, sappers discover this particular mine during the survey of the territory. It is extremely difficult to detect it, and to provoke a detonation, unfortunately, is easy – just hook the target’s sensor – the stretcher,” the department explains. Read also: Caution: mines!
