The technical staff of the “MUR” project was mobilized during the tour
The entire technical composition of the project “WALL” mobilized during the all-Ukrainian tour. The musicians reported that it happened before the concert on September 18 in Uzhhorod. The regional TCC stated that it happened in another settlement the day before the concert.

The participants of the “MUR” project announced this on Instagram.
“TCC mobilized the entire technical staff of our team. Before the performance in Uzhhorod now. The actors collect the scenery, the tour organizer stands behind the light cannon, the sound cables are connected to the local system, what to do next on the tour – we don’t know. But we will find out. And let’s solve this issue“, says the band’s history.
In the end, the concert in Uzhhorod took place, albeit with a delay. “Thank you! We will remember today’s performance for a long time“, the band wrote after the performance.
They also added that all future performances of the tour will take place as scheduled. The band’s performance is scheduled to take place in Ivano-Frankivsk tonight.
The Transcarpathian Regional TCC and SP stated in a comment to “Hromadskyi” that the information spread by “MUR” is not true. According to the TCC, the arrest took place the day before the concert, on September 17, in another locality. They also added that the band’s technical team did not have the right to postpone the draft due to mobilization.
Later, MUR representatives clarified that their colleagues were mobilized when they were going to Uzhgorod after the performance in Chernivtsi. “A group of 5 people honorably fulfill their duty, currently undergoing training at the training center in Zhytomyr“, the musicians added.
About the MUR band
WALL – a Ukrainian band that emerged after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Its members include: Oleksandr Khomenko (lyrics, recitative), Viktor Tkachenko (lyrics, music, sound production) and Mykola Shmundyr (recitative, PR).
“Until February 24, many of us listened to Russian music, adored Russian literature, cinema… And did not see a problem in this. But now you can’t just say: “We won’t be like this anymore!” – something must be done, done for the sake of one’s own culture, history, nation…” – band members previously told the Muzvar publication.
The group set itself the goal of creating songs based on the poems of Ukrainian poets and writers. In addition, they create documentary videos about the history of Ukrainian literature and music: about the song “Shchedryk”, Tychyna, Bagryany, Stus and Simonenko.
In the summer of 2022, the band gave their first solo concert and released their first album MYR vol.1. The second album was released in the fall of 2022 “Free little book”.
