Ukrainian freestyler Dmitry Kotovsky won the stage of the Ski Acrobatics World Cup in the American Deer Valley, the Ministry of Youth Sports reports.

The 21-year-old athlete performed a super-difficult bFtFF jump in the superfinal – a triple somersault with five screws called “Hurricane” and received 138.32 out of 156 possible points from the judges. The Ukrainian became the second athlete in history to successfully complete his ego at the competition.

This achievement became a new record for Ukraine, and Dmitry Kotovsky won his first victory at the World Cup.

The Ukrainian “flying skier” rose to second place in the overall standings of the World Cup, losing only 18 points to the leader, the Swiss Noah Roth, and joined the fight for the Crystal Globe.

The Ukrainian ski acrobatics team at the World Cup stage in Le Relais (Canada) won four awards in two days.
