Taras Kremin noted: if this information is true, the manager will be brought to administrative responsibility. “One of the appeals concerned the refusal of Mr. Oleksandr Lubyanskyi to use the state language during the official event “Creative Open Door Day”, who declared that the Russian language is the language of Kyiv. This fact shows signs of public humiliation of the state language,” the language ombudsman explained. They are also looking forward to explanations from the first vice-rector Oleksandr Lubyanskyi and copies of documents confirming his level of command of the state language, etc. “In addition, demonstrative disregard for the norms of legislation on the state language may indicate improper organization of the educational process in general. Therefore, there may be grounds for applying to the Minister of Education and Science regarding the need to carry out control measures regarding compliance by a private educational institution with the requirements of licensing conditions for the implementation of educational activities.” Kremin noted.
