Ukrainian poet and novelist Ihor Mysiak died in the war, defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. He was 29 years old. On the writer’s Facebook page, his friends and colleagues express their condolences and share memories of Mysiak. Ihor Mysiak was born in Lviv Oblast on June 16, 1993. He was a participant in the Revolution of Dignity. From the fall of 2014 to the summer of 2015, he served in the Azov Regiment. At the beginning of March 2022, he joined the unit of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later he found himself in the ranks of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. He took part in the liberation of Kherson Oblast from the occupiers, and later in the Bakhmut direction.
